
This lodge was consecrated on Wednesday, 22nd November 1961, in the Memorial Hall on Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs. There were 120 founder members from 54 lodges comprising 20 Past masters of which 6 were from English Constitution. The sponsor Lodge Sir William Wallace, No 1504.
The Foundation stone of Lodge Cadder Freestone's premises was laid by Bro. Brian G Brown, Provincial Grand Master of Glasgow, on the 23rd October 1976 and the consecration of the new hall took place on 1st September 1978.
A new temple was built as a third phase and this was consecrated in March 1982, the members are very proud of this splendid accommodation and the interior is a great credit on all who contributed to it's development.
The lodge meets on the second and fourth Wednesday from September to May with the Installation being held on the Saturday preceding the second Wednesday in November each Year.
Visitors are welcome at all meetings. The Right Worshipful Master, Office Bearer, Past Master and Brethren extend a cordial invitation to Freemasons to join them on meeting nights at 7.30pm.
